Chess in the community
Chess Mate was formed with an aim to make Chess and its many benefits accessible for young children. Chess Mate‘s clubs are open to all abilities but tailored to teaching children the basics to explore the game.
With humble beginnings in a local library, in 2022 it has expanded to offer Chess Clubs and camps across West Midlands and Gloucestershire.
Chess in education
Chess Mate offers schools a choice of lunchtime and afterschool clubs, which have proven popular amongst children and parents alike. Sessions can be tailored for KS1 and KS2.
Chess Mate is also open to provide sessions for the homeschooling community, message for more details.
Tuition
Chess Mate also offers 1-2-1 Chess sessions for beginners. This is available for all ages, please contact for a quote and availability. ♟️
